November 3rd, 2010 Outdoor Warning Siren Test Ambience in Hamilton County, Ohio

This is a recording of the November 3rd Outdoor Warning Siren test in Hamilton County, Ohio. This was recorded from a deck in Monfort Heights, which is located in Green Township. Sirens heard are the White Oak 1000T, (located at the Green Township Senior Center), T-128, (located at Harrison Avenue and Filview Circle across the street from the old Showcase Cinemas), and T-128 (located at the Great Oaks Diamond Oaks campus on Harrison Avenue). If you hear any sirens that I missed, feel free comment. The ATTACK cycle seems very creepy to me. It sounded like the end of the world was coming even though it obviously wasn't.. This is not a sound you want to hear on a non-test day.
