Royal Enfield Himalayan - Upgrading to Iridium Spark plugs - Myths Vs. Reality | Points to Remember

Hi Have been thinking of changing the spark plug as bike has done over 16000 kms (RE recommends 15000k). So decided to go for Iridium one this time. Have also been asked a few questions regarding it and thought it would be good time to discuss these in details and what all benefits can be reaped.
