Footage of Kent Fire & Rescue Service in attendance of a large Industrial Waste Site fire in Ashford on the 7th of April 2026. The fire started at 17:56 on the 7th of April, and firefighting operations were finished at approximately 17:15 on the 8th of April. At the height of the incident, 10 Pumps were in attendance (not including support pumps for special vehicles). (They dropped the Specialist Foam Unit pod at the scene, and I believe they were going to collect another pod needed for the incident). 12:36 - Ashford's Bulk Water Carrier refilling. 12:50 - 13:17 - Larkfield's Bulk Water Carrier refilling. 13:18 - End of video on scene footage - Heavy smoke still coming from the site late into the evening. Another big fire in Kent! Was very lucky to be at Ashford Fire Station when they got turned out to this, certainly wasn't expecting it to be such a big job! Was nice to see both Bulk Water Carriers on scene along with other specialist vehicles and some Retained Pumps that you don't see too often and of course, catching the High Volume Pump might be my best catch yet (and also my favourite too!!).
