We Only Stopped Here for Fuel | Redding Regional Airport

Sometimes you don't need a destination, you just need a great place to stop along the way. On our way through Northern California, we dropped into Redding Regional Airport (KRDD) for fuel and are sharing everything transient pilots need to know before their next visit. TRANSIENT PARKING Transient parking is managed by Redding Jet Center, with tie-down parking available for approximately $5 per night. Overnight parking is available, but always check with the FBO for current procedures and pricing before arrival. FBO Redding Jet Center is a full-service FBO supporting transient pilots, flight training, and a variety of aviation operations. Staff is friendly and efficient. The pilot lounge included wi-fi, coffee and restroom facilities. Because the airport is home to an active flight school and frequent medical transport operations, the lounge can become busy during peak periods. FUEL Full-service 100LL and Jet A are available through Redding Jet Center or Air Shasta FBO. RESTROOMS Restrooms are available inside the FBO for transient pilots. CREW CAR / RENTAL CARS / RIDESHARE A courtesy car may be available through Redding Jet Center (subject to availability). Uber, Lyft and rental cars are also available, making it easy to reach restaurants and attractions around Redding. FOOD While there's an on-field restaurant located inside the commercial terminal, we'd recommend heading into town instead. There are numerous highly rated local restaurants just 5–10 minutes from the airport, making it well worth the short drive.
