We begin at East and West Alley (Dongxi Xiang), one of the busiest historic districts in central Guilin. Along the way, you’ll see a street artist creating traditional Chinese sugar paintings, holiday crowds filling the old streets, and Zhuangyuan Corridor, which remembers the scholars from Guilin who achieved the highest rank in China’s ancient imperial examinations. The walk continues to Xiaoyao Tower, where visitors dressed in traditional Chinese costumes pose for photos beneath the illuminated historic architecture. Then we arrive at Jiefang Bridge over the Li River for one of the highlights of the evening — a large drone show lighting up the night sky above Guilin. After the show, the walk continues along Binjiang Road and Yiren Road Pedestrian Street, capturing the crowds, lights, shops, street life, and festive atmosphere of downtown Guilin.
