Our Yukon RV Adventure Takes an Unexpected Turn!

EPISODE 3 - 🏔️ No Diesel, Endless Mountains & an Unexpected Paradise! 🚐 | Our Epic RV Adventure Continues! Our four-month RV adventure through Canada's incredible north continues, and this time we're exploring the Yukon, encountering a few unexpected challenges, and discovering some absolutely breathtaking places along the way! 🇨🇦 📍 Our adventure begins in Watson Lake, Yukon, where we visit the famous Sign Post Forest and proudly hang our very own SNL Joyride sign that we made in our previous episode! We also explore the Northern Lights Centre and Watson Lake Visitor Centre before grabbing some lunch and getting ready for the next leg of our journey. 🚐 Next stop: Teslin Lake! We hit the Alaska Highway once again, surrounded by the incredible scenery of the Yukon. But our journey comes with a bit of an unexpected twist when we discover that finding diesel fuel in Teslin isn't going to be as easy as we thought! ⛽😬 After our little fuel adventure, we settle in for the night at Teslin Lake Territorial Campground. The lake is absolutely beautiful, but the mosquitoes seem determined to make themselves part of our adventure! 🦟😂 🏔️ The next morning, we're back on the road! This time, we're heading toward the remote community of Atlin, British Columbia. The drive takes us through some of the most spectacular mountain scenery we've experienced so far, winding through the Yukon before turning south onto Atlin Road. And then we discover something special… 🏕️ An incredible FREE camping spot about 45 kilometres north of Atlin! With stunning scenery, peaceful surroundings, and no campground fees, we decide this beautiful little spot is too good to leave after just one night. So we stay for a few days and soak up everything this amazing part of northern BC has to offer.
