Tokyo Disney Resort: Ikspiari (Ambience)

Since my time at Tokyo Disney Resort was so precious, I didn't get to explore Ikspiari, the shopping and entertainment complex right next to the resort, as much as I would have liked. Still, I wanted to capture a quick glimpse to share with you all. A few fun facts about Ikspiari: it opened in July 2000, alongside Tokyo DisneySea, and its name is a playful combination of the word "Experience" and "Peri," a fairy from Persian mythology. Despite sitting right next to Tokyo Disney Resort, Ikspiari is actually run by a separate company and isn't officially Disney-branded. So you won't find Disney characters here, aside from one large Disney Store. The complex spans roughly 117,000 m² and is divided into themed zones, each with its own distinct architectural style, housing well over a hundred shops, restaurants, cafes, and even a multi-screen cinema. It's located just steps from Maihama Station, making it an easy stop before or after a day in the parks.
