PMAY List Deletions Trigger Anger in Doda; BJP Leader Gajay Rana Meets ACD with Public Delegation.

Residents from different blocks and panchayats of Doda district today approached the ACD Office, Doda, raising complaints over the alleged deletion of their names from the list of beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). A public delegation, accompanied by BJP leader Gajay Singh Rana from Doda West, met the ACD and submitted their grievances. Speaking to the media, Rana said there is considerable resentment among the people and claimed that the number of affected residents is much larger than those who were able to reach the office today. He alleged that names of genuine beneficiaries have been removed from the list despite their eligibility. He further said that people are currently busy with agricultural work, yet they are being compelled to make repeated visits to government offices to seek clarification and justice. Rana expressed hope that the administration would address the issue at the earliest. He demanded that the existing list be kept on hold, the grievances of the affected residents be examined, and eligible beneficiaries whose names were removed be included again after due verification.
