WALZ - Tutorial - IMAGING-PAM

This tutorial introduces the IMAGING-PAM systems from WALZ. It shows how chlorophyll fluorescence imaging can be used to analyse the activity of photosystem II at a spatial level. Important fluorescence parameters, such as Fv/Fm, Y(II) and NPQ, can be measured simultaneously across an entire sample using the pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) principle and the saturation pulse method. The tutorial presents examples of applications from research projects, demonstrating how chlorophyll fluorescence imaging can reveal heterogeneous patterns of photosynthetic efficiency within a single leaf or across a plant population.
