DeChambeau Wants In on Europe's Golf Tour

LIV Golf's player deadline is Oct 25, and some of its stars are already looking past it. Reportedly, the DP World Tour is willing to give departing LIV players access to tournaments next year -- possibly double-digit starts, not including its five Rolex Series events -- after a 'high volume of inbound interest' (a DP World Tour spokesperson, via Today's Golfer/Heavy.com). Bryson DeChambeau's team has reportedly asked for extra starts on the DP World Tour (Europe's tour), and he's entered December's Nedbank Golf Challenge. David Puig has ruled out LIV 2.0 entirely for a full DP World Tour season. Why that tour and not the PGA Tour: the PGA Tour hasn't softened (commissioner Brian Rolapp: no 'red carpet'), while the DP World Tour settled with LIV players in May for fines in exchange for status and Ryder Cup eligibility -- which is also why this matters for Ryder Cup 2027, in Ireland.
