Selah’s Song — A Hymn of Hope | Scottish Celtic Christian Hymn

Verse 1 — The Father’s Care From the heavens to the earth below, The Lord doth guide the way; God the Father maketh all things good, And keepeth us each day. Though clouds of sorrow hide the sun, His mercy still remains; The Lord is good in all His ways, His love through all sustains. Verse 2 — Jesus the Saviour The Lord Jesus, the Son of God, For all our sins hath died; Upon the cross He gave His life, And opened mercy wide. The precious blood that He hath shed, Redemption doth proclaim; Salvation is in Christ alone, All glory to His name. Verse 3 — Comfort in Sorrow When we are weak and sick with pain, And sorrow fills the day, We look unto the Lord our God, Who hears us when we pray. He bindeth up the broken heart, And lifteth up the low; His grace shall be our strength anew, Wherever we may go. Verse 4 — Hope and Renewal For we know that all things work Together for the good, To them that love the living God, As He hath said they should. When sadness comes and we fall down, The Lord can raise us still; We trust His everlasting Word, And seek to do His will. Verse 5 — Everlasting Praise The Lord hath made the earth and sky, The moon and stars above; His wondrous works declare His power, His wisdom and His love. So let our hearts give thanks to Him, Our voices rise in praise; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and King, We’ll glorify His grace. Amen. Based on the song written by my daughter to the Lord.
