TRIKONASANA WITH PROPS | DAY 2 — CHAIR & WALL VARIATIONS Do you struggle to reach the floor in Trikonasana? Or do you find it difficult to maintain your alignment once you come into the pose? That's where yoga props can help. Welcome to the 2nd video of my Trikonasana series, where we're exploring one asana at a time—understanding its alignment, variations, and how props can support our practice. In this video, I'll demonstrate two ways to practise Trikonasana with support. 🪑 VARIATION 1: TRIKONASANA WITH A CHAIR Learn how a chair can support your hand, help you create length through the spine, and give you more space to open the chest without collapsing into the pose. 🧱 VARIATION 2: TRIKONASANA WITH WALL SUPPORT Explore how the wall can provide feedback about your body position and help you work with greater awareness of your alignment. 🌿 WHY USE PROPS IN YOGA? • To explore alignment without forcing the body • To create space and length through the spine • To support the upper body while maintaining the actions of the pose • To develop body awareness and a steadier practice And here's something worth reflecting on: sometimes, we need to put the ego aside and bring the props closer. Using a prop doesn't mean you're doing a lesser version of the pose. It means you're choosing to work with your body intelligently. Yoga isn't about how far you can reach. It's about how consciously you practise.
