Railserve And GMTX Switcher Engines on UP IKCLB | 10/19/2026

Word got around on the evening of October 19th that two switcher engines were riding DIT on UP IKCLB, 3 day per week racks and stacks from Kansas City, MO to Long Beach, CA. Arriving at Whiteside, I found the train as they waited for two eastbound trains to clear before proceeding west. With a green out of the siding, the train departed and the crew greets us with a friendly horn salute and wave. We would follow them down to Partridge for a better lit shot.
