If you have puff pastry and chocolate, you need to try this! Today, I’m sharing a simple bakery-style trick that transforms everyday ingredients into golden, flaky chocolate pastries. With a crispy, buttery exterior, beautiful chocolate-filled swirls, and a rich melted chocolate coating, these homemade pastries are a wonderful treat for any occasion. The finishing touch? Chopped walnuts sprinkled over the melted chocolate, adding a delicious crunch to every bite. These chocolate puff pastry swirls are perfect for afternoon coffee, family gatherings, holidays, or whenever you want to make something special without complicated baking techniques. And the best part? You don’t need to be an experienced baker to make them. 🥐 INGREDIENTS 1 sheet puff pastry (500 g / 17.6 oz) Chocolate-hazelnut spread, for the filling 1 egg yolk 1 teaspoon milk (5 ml) Melted chocolate, for dipping Chopped walnuts, for topping HOW TO MAKE THEM 1. Unroll the puff pastry onto your work surface. 2. Spread the chocolate-hazelnut filling and shape the pastry into double swirls, as shown in the video. 3. Brush the pastries with the egg yolk and milk mixture. 4. Bake until beautifully golden, crisp, and flaky. 5. Allow the pastries to cool. 6. Dip the lower half of each pastry into melted chocolate. 7. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the chocolate-coated sections while the chocolate is still soft. 8. Allow the chocolate to set before serving. Enjoy these homemade chocolate pastries with your favorite cup of coffee or tea!
