Metro Manila used to mean NCR — Makati, BGC, Quezon City, Ortigas. But not anymore. Today, the way people live, work, and move has changed. Infrastructure has connected regions that used to feel far apart. And real estate growth is no longer confined within Metro Manila. What we are seeing now is something bigger. I call it Macro Manila — a connected region powered by two major growth corridors: • The Northern Power Axis (Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Tarlac) — where industries, logistics, and airports are expanding • The Southern Power Axis (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas) — where people are choosing to live, in communities like Nuvali Metro Manila is no longer just a place. It’s a system. And if this shift continues, we may all need to rethink how we define “Metro Manila” in the years ahead. This is not just about geography. It’s about how the future of Philippine real estate is being shaped. This is Realtor Mike Tan.
