Couple of additional notes: I recommend converting all the suture you have to 2-0 silk if it's not already, our sim center previously had 2-0 Vicryl and the properties are different enough that it makes a small difference in tying down the knot. The needle size at the testing center I visited was smaller than this needle but the concepts carry over.
