Prison Break Season 1 Episode 14 Reaction! Watching Prison Break S1E14 “The Rat” for the first time - and after Michael Scofield’s escape plan completely falls apart, Lincoln Burrows is running out of time. In Prison Break Season 1 Episode 14, Michael and the escape team are forced to abandon their attempt after discovering that the pipe beneath the infirmary has been replaced. With Lincoln’s execution now only hours away, Michael desperately searches for another way to save his brother. When Westmoreland explains that a malfunction with the electric chair could delay an execution, Michael comes up with a desperate new plan. He captures a rat and uses it to sabotage the electrical system, hoping it will buy Lincoln several more weeks. But Tweener overhears the plan and gives the information to Bellick, putting Michael’s last chance in serious danger. Outside Fox River, Veronica and Nick continue fighting to prove Lincoln’s innocence, while Sara takes the evidence to her father, Governor Tancredi, and asks him to reconsider the execution. But political pressure surrounding Lincoln’s case makes saving him even more difficult. As the execution gets closer, Michael and Lincoln are given what could be their final moments together. After everything Michael sacrificed to get into Fox River and build the perfect escape plan, he is finally forced to face the possibility that he may not be able to save his brother. This is my first time watching Prison Break, so this is a completely blind reaction to Prison Break Season 1 Episode 14 “The Rat.” Michael sabotaging the electric chair, Tweener becoming Bellick’s informant, Sara trying to stop the execution and Michael saying goodbye to Lincoln made this one of the most emotional and stressful episodes of Season 1 so far.
