Farhan Aaya Toh Sri Lanka Gaya! 🔥 | Pakistan Outclass Sri Lanka in 1st T20 Rawalpindi Pakistan have won the first T20I against Sri Lanka at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium by 4 wickets with 7 balls to spare, taking a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Captain Sahibzada Farhan led from the front in his first home match as T20I captain. Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first, which in my opinion was a mistake on a Rawalpindi pitch with bounce and a green top, where chasing has historically been the better option. Lahiru Udara still played a superb 91 off 55 balls, the highest T20I score by a Sri Lankan against Pakistan, taking Sri Lanka to 182/8. Naseem Shah was the pick of the bowlers with 3/36 in his four overs, a strong comeback after a long time, running in at around 140-142 kph. Debutant Mohammad Imran also impressed with 2/21. In the chase, Farhan played a proper captain’s innings: 89 off 53 balls with 10 fours and 4 sixes, attacking when needed and respecting the conditions when required. He was dismissed with just 4 runs needed. Maaz Sadaqat gave great support with a fast 50 (3 sixes, 4 fours), and Fakhar Zaman also chipped in with a quick start. In this video I also share my honest take on the team combination: why I think leaving out Arafat Minhas for Shadab Khan was a questionable call, Abrar Ahmed’s bowling, Saim Ayub’s bowling versus his batting, and head coach Mike Hesson’s well-known preference for all-rounders. Razaullah also made his T20I debut in this match. 🏏 Subscribe for honest, no-bias Pakistan cricket analysis. 🔔 Turn on notifications for the 2nd T20I update. #PakVsSL #SahibzadaFarhan #PakistanCricket #NaseemShah #CricketNews #T20I #Rawalpindi #CricketAnalysis #MaazSadaqat #CricketHighlights
