Sometimes, the hardest part of moving on is accepting that you may never get the apology, explanation, or acknowledgement you were waiting for. I’ve personally experienced situations in both my personal and professional life where I found it difficult to forgive, accept what had happened, and simply move forward. Over time, I realised that closure doesn’t always have to come from the person who hurt you. In this video, I talk about what closure actually means, why we sometimes remain stuck in old chapters, and how we can slowly create our own closure. Some chapters take days to close. Some take months. Some take years. And that’s okay. One thing I have learnt is that sometimes the best way to make an old chapter fade is not to keep trying to erase it but to start writing new chapters. New experiences. New lessons. New relationships. New goals. A new version of yourself. Because you don’t always have to forget what happened. Sometimes you simply have to grow beyond the place it occupies in your life. If you’re waiting for someone’s apology, explanation, or validation before you allow yourself to move forward, I hope this video gives you a different perspective. Closure is not always something someone else gives you. Sometimes, closure is a decision you make for yourself. If this video resonates with you, share it with someone who may need to hear this. #Closure #MovingOn #Healing #PersonalGrowth #SpeakWithPower #LifeLessons
