You Have Everything, but Are You Empty?

Success without God is a counterfeit. The tribe of Joseph complained that their land was too small, and the land they could take was a forest guarded by iron chariots. Joshua did not deny the forest or the chariots. He told them God would empower them to clear it from one end to the other. You can be skilled, talented and powerful, achieve everything the world calls success, and still be empty inside. Your soul knows. Like Adam and Eve with their fig leaves, we hide: in work, in talent, in riches. And success is not proof that God is pleased. Your true self is in God. Your true success is in God. Stop hiding behind fig leaves and come back to the One your life is hidden in.
