Bangkok Rainy Evening Walk | Phrom Phong → Asok → Nana | Thailand Ride (2026-08)

Walk from Phrom Phong toward Nana along Sukhumvit Road in the evening, following the ODD SIDE — the odd-numbered soi side of the street. Starting at 8:29 PM on August 31, this walk heads west through Sukhumvit as the city moves deeper into the evening. Traffic, pedestrians, illuminated shops and hotels, building entrances, sois, headlights, and everyday street activity create a different atmosphere from the same route earlier in the day. Although Phrom Phong and Nana are connected by the BTS Sukhumvit Line, walking between them reveals the details and small changes that are easy to miss when traveling above the road by train. This journey is the reverse direction of the Nana → Phrom Phong walk filmed earlier the same evening. That first walk began at 7:53 PM. Only 36 minutes later, I started this return journey from Phrom Phong toward Nana, again following the ODD SIDE. There is also another small piece of street history preserved in this recording. After leaving Phrom Phong, the same fallen tree seen during the earlier Nana → Phrom Phong walk appears again along the route. The following morning, September 1, I passed the location again while filming and found workers removing the fallen tree. Later that same morning, another walk captured replanting work after the removal. Viewed in chronological order, the recordings preserve a short sequence of change: August 31 evening — fallen tree September 1 morning — removal work Later that morning — replanting work None of these scenes was planned as a before-and-after record. They became connected simply because I happened to walk through the same part of Sukhumvit several times within a short period. No Cuts Unless Necessary. No talking. No background music.
