Permission to Exist | LCA Storytime 🤎

A little context before you watch: my brother and I have a very loving and healthy relationship. He’s also my co-founder, and I genuinely value his perspective. So this isn’t about bashing him or portraying his feedback as criticism. He’s my comfort person. I know his intentions, and I’m comfortable with him expressing his opinions and observations freely. I also gave him the opportunity to watch this video before posting it. We talked about it, agreed on the message, and decided to let the conversation be what it is. For me, this reflection is about building LCA in a way that feels authentic, while remaining open to what other people may notice or experience differently. Sometimes someone can point something out about us, and we can listen, examine it and become aware of it without immediately deciding that it needs to be fixed. Sometimes we can simply say: I see it too. And I’m okay with it. There is room for awareness, difference and growth without turning every part of ourselves into a project. Permission to exist as we are, while still having the freedom to become. 🤎
