Sunday, September 13 | Morning Prayer to Rest in God's Presence This Sunday Have you ever arrived at a Sunday morning already tired? 🙏 You counted on this day for rest, and yet your body stopped moving while your mind never did — still calculating, still rehearsing tomorrow, still carrying a week that never really ended. And underneath it all sits a quiet question you have never said out loud: does God draw near on the weeks I did well, and step back on the weeks I did not? This powerful Sunday morning prayer is built on Exodus 33:14 — "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." Notice the order of that promise. Rest is not a package God leaves at the door from a distance. Rest is what happens to a human heart when the presence of God arrives and stays. Today we stop striving to reach him, and we let him reach us.
