“Angel’s Lullaby” is an original Lucifer TV series fan song and Lucifer Morningstar character study, written directly to Lucifer as a challenge to the guilt, self-condemnation, and loneliness he carries beneath the Devil persona.
The song uses the image of a mirror to confront one of Lucifer’s deepest beliefs: that reflecting humanity’s darkest desires somehow makes those desires his fault. A mirror does not create what it reveals, and the sins of the world belong to those who choose them.
“Angel’s Lullaby” asks Lucifer to separate who he is from what others have projected onto him. Indulgence, judgment, rejection, and suffering have all shaped the role he performs, but they do not have to define the soul underneath it.
At its heart, this is a song about self-worth, agency, and the possibility of choosing a different path. It argues that love is not something Lucifer is inherently barred from receiving, and that healing does not require him to deny what he is—only to stop treating pain as proof of what he deserves.
A lullaby for a fallen angel who has spent too long believing the shadows reflected in his mirror belong to him.

The music was generated from my lyrics by Suno. Style is a combo of dark cabaret, blues, noir.
Verse 1: Fallen angel you walk a lonely path. Wallowing in what you think you lack. Pain and sorrow companions to follow you. Yet, to think it caused by thee is not true. Mirrors don’t cause what they show. The world’s sins belong to those who walk the road and not to you that shows.
Chorus: Mirror standing before me there, you have your own soul to share. Let the shadows twist and churn. Instead seek for what you yearn. Your own soul deserves the gentle light from which you hide. Love is not forever out of grasp, one day you shall hold it fast.
Verse 2: Indulgence is the whim you use to fulfill the ache within. A hollow role for one with such a soul. Mirror why do you let their judgements land on thee, when they belong to the sheep. You are not meant to suffer so, there is so much more to know.
Chorus: Mirror standing before me there, you have your own soul to share. Let the shadows twist and churn. Instead seek for what you yearn. Your own soul deserves the gentle light from which you hide from its sight. Love is not forever out of grasp, one day you shall hold it fast.
Verse 3: Suffering is not thy cross to bear, despite the wounds leveled by those for who you care. Let not their judgement be thy worth, nor defined by that they made thee work. Look unto who you are and see the soul that would be barred. Another path waits for you if instead to yourself you would be true.
Chorus: Mirror standing before me there, you have your own soul to share. Let the shadows twist and churn. Instead seek for what you yearn. Your own soul deserves the gentle light from which you hide from its sight. Love is not forever out of grasp, one day you shall hold it fast.
