We spent 9 unforgettable days exploring Japan for the first time — from the neon streets of Tokyo, to the snowy mountains of Nagano and Hakuba, to the timeless beauty of Kyoto. 🇯🇵✨ And somewhere along the way, we completely fell in love with this incredible country. In this Japan travel vlog, we’re taking you along for our full 9-day winter adventure, including our favorite experiences, luxury stays, incredible food, and everything we packed into our first trip to Japan. We started in Tokyo, exploring Shibuya Crossing, Shibuya Sky, Meiji Jingu, Sensō-Ji, Tokyo Skytree, Tsukiji Outer Market, Harajuku, Golden Gai and more. We stayed at the Shangri-La Tokyo and ate our way through the city, from ramen to Italian fine dining. Then we headed north to Nagano and Hakuba, where we visited the famous Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park, explored historic Zenkōji Temple, and skied Hakuba Valley — one of Japan’s most incredible winter destinations. Finally, we made our way to Kyoto, where we explored Fushimi Inari, Nishiki Market, Gion, Yasaka Shrine, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and the hidden gem Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple. We also experienced some unforgettable Japanese food, including Menbaka Fire Ramen and one of the best omakase dinners we've ever had.
