Wild Camping Donegal |Lough Nasharragh | Derryveagh Mountains

I managed to find the only wet weather during a prolonged dry spell on this trip to the Derryveagh Mountains in Donegal. It rained for pretty much all the trip and at times I felt cold, wet and miserable. That said I probably wouldn't have changed it for the experience it was. Walked 32km with 1,200m of climbing and took in 7 summits along the way. It had to be the tent with all the rain and it was cosy enough inside with plenty of tea as the rain battered outside. Lots of frogs appearing with the rain, saw a hare, ravens and plenty of deer tracks (though no deer).
