Tech video: BMW E46 M3 vs "E46 non-M" - What are the differences in chassis, suspension, and diff?

After 25 years of working with the E46 chassis, we wanted to make this video to show the differences in the chassis, suspension, and differential between the mighty E46 M3 and the lowly E46 non-M cars. We took front spindles and control arms and measured them side-by-side to show what changes, look at the rear suspensions, talk about the tubs, and more importantly - we talk about the MONEY. For a race car build, the reality is that there are FAR fewer E46 M3s (85K globally) than the rest of the E46 chassis (4 million!) We make a case for starting with the abundant and cheap E46 non-M chassis, then swapping over a few M3 parts, and the rest is all aftermarket. https://www.vorshlag.com/forums/forum...
