I have been trying to fly to Scotland for a long time. But between the ever-changing weather and my trusty but slow X'Air, it never happened.
Well, the time has finally arrived. My Jabiru opens the doors to smaller weather windows.
This week it happened. Weather was questionable in places, but totally doable.

Life has a way of getting in the way.
Sometimes, it feels like you’re just hanging on, being pulled along for the ride—completely out of control, with no clear path back to solid ground.
But here’s the thing: you’re not alone.
Every one of us has stood at the edge of a mental health crisis. Some have even crossed over that edge.
Through my flying, my goal is simple: to raise awareness of how common mental health challenges really are—and to remind people that it’s okay to talk about them.
I invite passengers to share their stories and how they cope, all while introducing them to the unique and freeing experience of flying in a light aircraft, often for the very first time.
Yes, for some, the flights may feel long or uneventful. But remember: it’s not about you.
It’s about giving each passenger a rare opportunity to disconnect from stress, focus on themselves, and let go, if only for an hour.

I’m a “weekend warrior” National Private Pilot who flies for fun and loves sharing the joy of flight. Every flight is a learning experience for me. I often take detailed notes afterwards to reflect on what went well and where I can improve. Recording flights with GoPro cameras is a valuable part of that process, and I find reviewing these videos helps me grow as a pilot.
I’m always open to feedback, just please keep it constructive and positive.
