5 Park Programs Practically Begging Grey Nomads to Camp Free (and the Catch in Each)

5 Park Programs Practically Begging Grey Nomads to Camp Free (and the Catch in Each) Park fees keep climbing — but across Australia, state park agencies run volunteer campground host programs where you can camp in a national park, often without paying site fees, in exchange for helping look after the campground. We go through 5 programs (QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA), how each generally works, the catch in each, and the one question to ask before you sign up. We cover: • What a campground host actually does (and doesn't) • Seasons: winter up north, summer down south • Power, water, remoteness and emergency contact • Checks, induction, insurance and commitment • What a placement can really be worth Have you hosted? Which park — and would you do it again? #GreyNomads #FreeCamping #NationalParks #CampgroundHost #Caravan #Australia #BigLap #Volunteering DISCLAIMER: General information only.
