🔋 What is energy vulnerability?

🥶 Do you heat your entire home during winter? Do you have air conditioning to keep your home cool in summer? Do you sometimes have to give up other essentials to cover your electricity and heating bills? If the answer is yes, you are not alone. 🏠 Many households in Bosnia and Herzegovina face energy vulnerability, which affects their quality of life, health, and everyday decisions. 🔋 What is energy vulnerability? 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 How does it affect households and communities? ♀️ Why does it disproportionately affect women? We explored these important questions with participants in green transition dialogues held in Zenica, Mrkonjić Grad, and Brčko. Their experiences and perspectives are essential to better understanding the challenges people face in their daily lives. 🌱 The green transition must reflect people's real needs. With the support of Sweden, through the Portfolio “Support to Accelerating the Green Transition in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” we continue to contribute to evidence-based policymaking that responds to the lived experiences and needs of communities. 🇸🇪 Embassy of Sweden in Sarajevo #GreenTransition #EnergyVulnerability #EnergyEfficiency #BiH #SustainableDevelopment #LeaveNoOneBehind
