Geeta Kutir Tapovan Ashram Haridwar | Spiritual and Social Organization

Geeta Kutir Tapovan ashram is a spiritual and social organization with a temple, goshala, sanskrit pathshala, and old age home. Geeta Kutir was established in 1973 by Swami Geetananda Maharaj who is working on social and religious reforms in the country. The ashram is devoted to the social and spiritual welfare of the poor. Activities in Geeta Kutir Ashram Temple - Adjacent to the ashram, there is a small temple. The temple houses many Gods and Goddesses. Old Age Home - There is an old age home, which is run by Geeta Kutir with a capacity of 70 people with all the facilities. Sanskrit School - The ashram runs a Sanskrit school, with computer education for 500 students for free of cost. Goshala - Geeta Kutir owns a big goshala, where they own more than 1000 cows, looked after by ashram staff.
