I Tried At Fate’s End… and Had to Fight My Own Sister

At Fate’s End is the upcoming action-adventure from Thunder Lotus, the team behind Spiritfarer, and apparently being part of this family means settling your problems with swords. In the new Steam demo, I play as Shan Hemlock, the newly chosen Princess of Swords. After returning home, we reunite with our sister Camila, learn how the God Sword Aesus works, uncover some uncomfortable family secrets… and naturally end up fighting our own sister. The combat mixes sword fighting with Arcana abilities, while exploration and conversations let you gather information that can actually affect how you confront your family. And honestly? The art is absolutely gorgeous and the story already has me asking a lot of questions. Why is there a sword coming out of my throat? Why is everyone terrified of Camila? And why does this family desperately need therapy? The free At Fate’s End Demo is available now on Steam, with the full game currently planned for 2027.
