Cop Gets CAUGHT Off Guard — DUI Evidence Falls Apart in Court! On November 21st, 2025, Destiny Cooper Holston was found in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked in a vacant lot in Colorado Springs and was charged with driving with excessive alcohol content, DUI, and driving while ability impaired.
During trial, Officer Skyler Tang testified about the DUI investigation, field sobriety tests, the vehicle’s headlights, and his observations at the scene. The defense challenged his limited DUI experience and questioned whether there was sufficient evidence that Holston had actually been driving or in physical control of the vehicle. The prosecution also presented forensic toxicology evidence showing an ethanol result of 0.119 g per 100 milliliters.
The jury ultimately found Destiny Cooper Holston not guilty of driving with excessive alcohol content, DUI, and the lesser-included offense of driving while ability impaired. The court dismissed the charges, and she was free to go.
