Strasburg 90 & 89: Steam Strikes Back! The 60's At Strasburg (Ft. N&W 475)

Better late then never right? here is the only photo charter I participated in in 2020! The first of our only Trilogy in 2020, Featuring the 90 in her famous 1967 Apperance(Mostly) 89 in her usual appearance but putting on a show and the 475 on the regular on the Steam Strikes Back event! Here is my video from the Saturday, which features Episode II & III! Time Codes Episode II 1:21 Episode III 39:32 Norfolk & Western 475 during Golden Hour 1:07:29 2020 was the 60th Anniversary of the Iconic Tourist Railroad. 60 years since the return of Steam in North American and many different locomotives operating on the line. To celebrate this anniversary of the Railroad, many events were operated this year. On the weekend of October 16th a series of Photo specials were held to mark this special occasion. Starting with Friday's Plymouth Charter which we did not attend and a night session featuring all three locomotives. We did not attend the Friday night sessions, which was coined Episode I. However, Christian did attend the 3 day sessions. The star of the show? 90 in her famous 1967 Egg Logo appearance. Being the now longest operational steam engine on the Line 90 stole the show that day being the main point of focus. I heard 90 get the loudest I've ever heard her get! From Sunrise to Afternoon, I enjoyed watching the 90 haul a passenger train and a freight. 89 joined in to but nothing was done to backdate here. Both engines put on a show that day. After the Charter was over with, I chased the 475 and got great golden hour shots. I ran into many friends and made some new ones that weekend as well. Here is the channels below.
