When You See Him: Two Responses to Jesus

You can know the songs, the verses, and the name of Jesus and still never have met him. So what happens when you actually see him? Paul says the love of Christ constrains us and that anyone in Christ is a new creature. Then the Scriptures walk through the people who saw him. Daniel went face down at the river. Peter fell at Jesus' knees after a miraculous catch of fish. Isaiah cried out in the temple, and John fell at his feet as dead. Every one of them responded, and the responses were not the same. Reverence or repentance: which one looks like you?
