Ban Tai faces north, so the sun doesn't set over the water here — the light softens through the afternoon rather than dropping into the sea. Sunday afternoons bring more people onto this beach than a weekday, but it stays far quieter than Chaweng or Lamai on the east coast. I'm Amber S.
