Improvisation on the Theme DEUTSCH, October 10, 2026

Performance of «Improvisation on the Theme DEUTSCH», composed by me, at the 4th 'Generation Concert' by past leaders of the University of Tokyo Piano Society, held in Curian Small Hall on October 10, 2026. The theme DEUTSCH is the sequence Re-Mi-Do-Mi♭-Do-Si, derived from D - E - Ut (an old name for Do) - S (Es, Mi♭ in German) - C - H (Si♮ in German). The whole improvisation is based on various appearances of this theme. I have been staying in Germany since this April, and this improvisation draws inspiration from that experience. 1:12 Start!
