The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX is well known by Zelda fans, but the reason behind its system dependent slowdown may not be. While it's easy to say that better hardware runs a game better, actually understanding WHY that better hardware CAN run a game better can make us appreciate the brilliance of a game's design.
