Slow Living in Korea | Returning Home, Sourdough, Indoor Gardening & Rainy-Day Baking

After spending the summer with our family in Italy, we are finally back home in Korea and slowly returning to our familiar routines. In this vlog, I unpack the pottery plates we made with the children before our trip, check on my little rooftop garden and plant some Italian chives and rucola seeds. With the late-summer rain keeping us indoors, I settle back into the comforting rhythm of baking sourdough bread, doing a little ironing and enjoying a few quiet minutes of crochet. Jungu has also started paying more attention to protein-rich meals since he began working out, so I make cold sesame chicken soba noodles for us to share. The following day, I try a simple homemade flaxseed treatment on my curls, put some of my sourdough discard to good use and bake a warm peach cobbler with Greek yogurt. After a full and beautiful summer away, these quiet days reminded me how grateful I am to have a home and a routine that I genuinely love returning to.
