The Edit Nodes tool is one of those features where ten minutes of practice saves you hours later, but most tutorials only cover two or three hotkeys and leave the rest a mystery. This one runs through all of them: S to smooth a node, L to convert a curve back to a line, C to turn a curve into a corner, D to delete, I to insert, M to insert at midpoint, B to break the shape, T to trim a line back to the nearest intersection, E to extend, and A to auto-align a line to vertical, horizontal, or 45 degrees You'll also see how to multi-select nodes (shift-click or drag a box around them), how to constrain node movement to fixed angles by holding shift, and the two gotchas that trip up new users: you can't edit nodes on shapes, text, or barcodes until you convert them to paths first (Ctrl+Shift+C or right-click, Convert to Path), and grouped objects have to be ungrouped before any of this works.
