In this video, we walk you through a complete dual-battery system installation on a 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150 Series. Starting batteries aren’t built for deep-cycle loads, so we’ve fitted an iTechworld iTECH120X (105Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery with Bluetooth). Unlike factory crank batteries, lithium can safely deliver continuous, reliable power for extended off-grid stays without leaving you stranded. Key Components & Setup: Secondary "AUX" Battery: iTechworld iTECH120X 105Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery (Bluetooth monitored) In-Cabin Power: iTechworld Mini Control Box 12V featuring rear Anderson plug outlets, ACC cigarette plug outputs, and USB outlets to run a fridge or campsite gear indefinitely without draining the starter battery. Charging System: iTechworld iTECHDCDC25 (25A DCDC & MPPT Charger, 12V/24V) Wiring & Protection: High-current genuine OEX 8 B&S (8mm², 74A rated) single-core cable and genuine Anderson connectors throughout To ensure maximum reliability in the remote Australian Outback, we protect the system with auto-reset circuit breakers instead of fast-acting blade fuses. If an overload occurs, the breaker resets automatically—no hunting for spare fuses in the middle of nowhere. We treat every vehicle that enters our workshop like our own. Backed by Dimitrios, a fully qualified auto electrician with over 40 years of hands-on experience, we proudly back all of our workmanship with a lifetime installation warranty.
