KAP sani2c Adventure Day 1 | Highlights

Day 1 of the KAP sani2c Adventure delivered everything it promised. Underberg turned it on with perfect riding conditions: sunny skies, cool air and crisp trails. After the neutral roll-out from Glencairn, the pace lifted along the open Pevensey roads before the route dipped into flowing farm singletrack and the first real tests of pacing and partnership. From View Climb’s last look at the Drakensberg to the cheers at the PG Bison floating bridge, through Mbiba’s fast flow and the energy of Pevensey Place, the day built beautifully. The new Sappi Speedway was an absolute hit, fast, smooth and full of smiles. The final third demanded respect, with Reality Climb and the run into Mackenzie reminding riders that it is never over until it is over. A proper first stage. Tired legs, big grins and a race village buzzing with stories.
