🔴 Live from Hanover: eTopas 600 Premiere, Made by Steyr Austria, 621kWh LFP, 560km Range & 941HP Peak eAxle!
We are live from the official SuperPanther & Steyr Automotive exhibition showcase inside Hall 19/20 at IAA Transportation 2026 at Deutsche Messe Hannover in Germany! While long-haul fleet operators search for zero-emission tractors that deliver high payload without massive tare penalties, international logistics giants are crowding around one of the most significant industrial collaborations at the show. Meet the spectacular, next-generation 2027 SuperPanther eTopas 600! Developed by new-energy technology pioneer SuperPanther and manufactured in Austria by renowned truck builder Steyr Automotive, this 941-horsepower heavy-duty highway tractor arrives in Hanover to demonstrate how Austrian manufacturing quality, an 876V high-voltage platform, 560 km of real-world range, and a class-leading 10.8-tonne kerb weight combine in the ultimate long-haul electric workhorse.
Commanding the show floor in its aerodynamic livery with SuperPanther's crystallized black panther badge, an enclosed low-drag front grille, side cab air extenders, aerodynamic chassis fairings, and polished 22.5-inch alloy wheels, the eTopas 600 is built for highway efficiency. Under the frame rails lies a massive 621 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack engineered for extreme longevity, rated for 4,500 full charge cycles or 1.2 million operating kilometers over eight years. Powering SuperPanther’s proprietary dual-motor eAxle, the truck generates 394 kW of continuous output and up to 692 kW (941 HP) of peak power, delivering effortless hill-climbing under full 42-to-44-tonne loads. Advanced lightweight engineering keeps the complete tractor kerb weight down to just 10.8 tonnes—approximately 800 kg lighter than competing electric trucks—preserving crucial freight payload margins.
Efficiency is further enhanced by an integrated thermal management system featuring an ultra-low-temperature heat pump operable down to -30°C. Combined consumption averages around 1.1 kWh/km, delivering up to 560 km (348 miles) of highway range on a single charge. Thanks to dual-sided CCS2 fast-charging ports, the LFP battery charges from 20% to 80% in approximately 38 minutes during mandatory driver rest breaks. An optional 800V DC (80 kW) and 400V AC (43 kW) ePTO allows direct power delivery to refrigerated trailers without auxiliary diesel generators.
Climb the wide entrance steps into the flat-floor sleeper cab to experience an ergonomic workspace. The driver enjoys air-suspended heated and ventilated seating, a configurable digital instrument display, and a central multimedia screen running My Panther fleet telematics. A 5-level regenerative braking system maximizes energy recoupment on motorway declines, backed by a full GSR II ADAS safety suite. Join us for a detailed 4K walkaround!
