1 hour of feeding chickens and adding more hay to the coop in sunrise morning -NO TALKING

I added more hay to the floor of the coop because it’s getting colder. I saw a couple of other YouTube videos recommend doing that over the course of the winter, instead of scooping out their poop, you just keep feeding them and keep putting extra hay over their poop, because the decomposing hay and poop releases heat and helps keep the chickens warmer in the winter. Will test this out to see if it works and reduces the need for a heater to keep their drinking water from freezing. It was a beautiful sunny morning!  but in the beginning, it seemed like the chickens did not want to leave the barn at all, because instead of venturing outside like they normally do, it seemed like they just hung out inside the barn for warmth lol.
