I’m cruisin’ the Pacific Coast Highway with Kush ridin’ shotgun, gold KUSH tag swingin’, when I spot some leather-jacket fool hitchhiking with a “Going Nowhere?” sign. Hold the fk up—that’s FONZIE! I scoop his slick-haired ass up while Kush gives me that side-eye like, “Homie, this decision got bullst written all over it.” Shoulda listened to the dog.
Next thing we’re at Arnold’s crushing burgers and fries when Fonzie introduces me to Miley Cyrus. Somehow Fonz starts taking over my booth like he paying rent, so I’m like, “Yo! Get yo leather-coated ass outta my condiment district!” Miley’s cracking up, Fonzie’s throwing the “Ayyyy,” and I’m protecting my fries.
Outside I spot Fonzie’s motorcycle. Common sense says leave it alone. Hood mathematics says Fonzie rode in my car, so his bike is temporarily community property. I yell, “Miley, hop on!” and we blast off while Fonz stands there looking like somebody stole his last jar of hair grease.
Somehow we wind up in Arizona. Cactus everywhere lookin’ like nature throwing gang signs, heat dancing off the pavement, and one delinquent brain cell whispers, “Pop a wheelie.” SAY LESS. Front tire goes airborne, Miley screaming and laughing behind me, and now we ain’t riding—we the Hood Aeronautics Administration.
We eventually roll back toward L.A. and find Fonzie living on Skid Row with the whole Happy Days crew. Damn, homie! I borrowed your motorcycle—I didn’t destroy your retirement plan! At that point reality done packed a suitcase and bounced.
Miley wants to see Daddy, so we roll into a trailer park where Billy Ray Cyrus is waiting, looking like somebody poured oat milk in his moonshine. I drop Miley off, the trailer door opens, and out walks BRITNEY F**KIN’ SPEARS! Miley loses her mind, Billy Ray looks confused, I’m confused, and even the motorcycle probably needs therapy.
By then we quit asking questions and somehow everybody ends up at a playground, laughing and acting like fools.
And all this madness happened while I’m working on my bass cover of Squeeze’s “Happy Days.” So yeah, that’s my day: Kush, Fonzie, Miley, burgers, a liberated motorcycle, Arizona wheelies, Billy Ray, surprise Britney, and enough beautiful dumbassery to last all week.
Bass in my blood, Kush by my side, love ridin’ shotgun, and common sense missing since breakfast.
Now THAT’S some Happy Days s**t, homie.
