The weather gave me nothing but rain again— so I leaned into it : black&white long exposures on the Norwegian coast, the small lighthouse I've ever seen, and a beautiful hike I almost talked myself out of that turned into THE shot ! Completed by a slideshow of my images from the Lofoten on the second week of my trip ! This is Part 3, the finale of my solo road trip through Arctic Norway. After days of driving the coast in constant rain, grabbing abstract seascapes wherever the light broke through, I forced myself out for a hike into Rago National Park and found an altitude lake pouring straight off a cliff into a massive waterfall. If you've ever struggled to get out the door when the forecast looks hopeless, this one's for you. 📩 Newsletter (free + new work first): https://www.wildscapeimaging.com 📸 Instagram:   / sylvainpetit_ws   🌐 Website & blog: https://www.wildscapeimaging.com 🎒 Gear I used: Lumix G9 Micro Four Thirds lenses ND1000 filter for the long exposures Tripod ⏱️ Chapters: 00:00 Back in Norway (and still raining) 00:47 Abstract black & white seascapes 02:49 Finding the lighthouse trail 03:27 The smallest lighthouse I've ever seen 07:04 Days of rain → Rago National Park 07:57 The hardest part of landscape photography 10:53 The lake & waterfall reveal 14:27 Around the lake + final thoughts 15:03 End of the trip → on to the Lofoten Thanks for following this Norway series to the end — it wasn't the trip I planned, but it might be one of my favourites.
