Give Yourself Grace to Be a Beginner

What can one decision do for you? Sometimes, one decision is all it takes to create a new possibility and reality. You don't have to have a perfect plan, know exactly what you're doing, or feel completely ready. Sometimes, you just have to begin. After deciding to show up on YouTube for seven consecutive days, I found myself reflecting on the power of one decision, the importance of celebrating small wins, and the grace we need to give ourselves when we're learning something new. We put so much pressure on ourselves to get things right that we forget we're allowed to be beginners. We're allowed to learn as we go, make mistakes, and discover our way forward. You never get beginner's grace again in quite the same way. Give yourself permission to experience the beginning without demanding perfection from yourself.
