How I saved my first $100K in my 20s, starting on a $50K salary while living paycheck to paycheck in New York. This is the simple system I used, step by step. Right out of college I was making $50,000 a year, living at home, and still had nothing left by the end of the week. I couldn't even tell where my money was going. So I built a system, and by 28 I had over $100,000 saved. Here's what I did: ✅ Went through every transaction to see where my money was really going ✅ Built a simple budget in Excel, splitting fixed costs from flexible ones ✅ Set small monthly savings goals, starting at just $50 ✅ Built my first emergency fund ✅ Switched jobs for bigger raises and saved every raise ✅ Started investing with only $25 a paycheck ✅ Scaled it up, one small step at a time I used to track all of this in Excel. Now I use SimplifyPocket, the app I built so you can do the same without the spreadsheet. Just say what you spent and it's tracked. 📱 iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/simplif... 🤖 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/de... If you're starting from zero, start with whatever you can, even $5. The amount matters less than the habit. Keep improving a little at a time and you'll hit your goal before you realize it.
