Join me for Yangchun noodles with shrimp roe, finely shredded tofu, layered steamed cake, green shaomai, pubao pork and a cup of green tea. We take our time and explore the flavors and little details behind morning tea. After breakfast, we leave LuOne and walk along Madang Road toward Xintiandi. Along the way, we pass a striking red atrium, neighborhood cafes and everyday residential streets. We also stop outside the former site of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea before exploring the historic shikumen lanes—a relaxed walk through different sides of Shanghai.
