Day 62 of saying something every day! ✨ Today, I talked about manipulation and how it isn't always as obvious as we think. Sometimes, manipulation comes in the form of guilt, emotional pressure, playing the victim, or making someone question their own experiences. It can even happen in relationships where we least expect it. But what I find interesting is that manipulation isn't always intentional. Sometimes, people learn certain behaviors from their surroundings and continue using them without realizing how they affect others. That doesn't mean we should excuse harmful behavior, but I think it's important to understand the difference between influencing someone and manipulating them. And perhaps the most important thing is to reflect on our own behavior, too. We often talk about how other people manipulate us, but how often do we question whether we might be doing something similar ourselves? Understanding manipulation isn't just about recognizing it in others. It's also about developing enough self-awareness to recognize it in ourselves. What do you think? Can someone manipulate others without even realizing it? Thanks for listening to another one of my random thoughts. ❤️ #Day62 #SayingSomethingEveryday #Manipulation #Psychology #HumanBehavior #EmotionalManipulation #Gaslighting #SelfAwareness #EmotionalIntelligence #ToxicPatterns #Relationships #MentalWellbeing #LifeLessons #RandomThoughts #RealTalk
